Grandpa with his great-grandchildren (some of them)
Grandpa & Jim
This is a family picture after a very long vacation, so we all look pretty tired & dirty!
The Arner Boys (most of them)

On the last day of our vacation we stopped in to visit with Grandpa Arner. He is doing really well it was a good visit. He told us a few stories of his childhood, including burning down their barn with his older brother when he was only 3 years old. We also heard about how he met Grandma, which was fun to hear. Evan and Bailee were also facinated with all of Grandpa's rocks so he showed them how cuts and polishes them. He also enters them in the fair and sells them. He was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's, so his hands shake a little, but overall he seems to be in good health. We will be going up to camp with him and some others in Jim's family for Labor Day, that will be fun to see him again so soon.
